This is an example of a DVD menu that is interactive. I chose this one because I thought that it was a good example of what an interactive DVD menu is ment to be. This interactive menu is good because people love to be involved with the movie E.G: Little children. the reason I say this is because as a child i thought that interacting with things that are appropriate made the experience more enjoyable and fun.
Idents
I chose this ident because it was a good example. An ident is what television stations E.G: BBC, ITV, use to let people know what they are watching and to promote that specific tv station. They are suppose to be short and snappy due to that fact that if they were on for to long people would get bored and tired of sat there watching this ident. They simply there to Remind and inform.
Title and Credit Sequence
A title and credit sequence is there so that the people who create the film or are part the making it such as; Actors, Camera men, Directors and producers, have recognition for what work they have done, also some time in movies they have a short 3-5 minute clip which is an extra hint or cliffhanger to the next movie, more commonly found in Marvel credits.
Stings
A sting is a short comical clip which is made to make the audince laugh and remember what tv channel they are watching, A good example of a sting would be the E4 stings which create a funny effect to the show. It is very close to an ident however is sometimes longer and are there for a unique comic purpose. There is also an interactive side to the sting as E4 hold a competition for what stings get on the television, the public create a sting then send it to E4 and hold a chance of having there work on the television.
Web Banners/ Attractors
the banner i have chosen is an advert of the new 'Call Of Duty: Ghost' game i found this on the website 'Youtube' this advert is there so that the more common young youth that go on youtube are then aware that the game can now be bought. The space that the advert has, has to be payed for by the company that owns the product. I chose this advert because it is big and is a clear example of what a web banner is.

Animated Caption
The animated caption I have chosen is the 'Who wants to be a millionare' question board. This is a good example because it shows exactly what a animated caption is suppose to do. An animated caption is a caption on the screen of you television that has been animated or edited into the show producing what the player on the screen can see. This makes the show more interactive and enjoyable for the viewer.
